Hey, welcome back! Got a really obscure one up for your viewing pleasure.

Anyone who knows me, or more likely knows anything about horror fans, knows how sought after Lucio Fulci's films are in the Dead Format world.
Most any of his acknowledged trilogy on any format will always command a higher dollar across the board.
This isn't really a recent phenomena, as Fulci was heavily represented all across the globe on every media format due to the extreme nature of his gore scenes and the readiness of discerning viewers to witness said horror.
Right here is a pretty rare Italian VHS of Zombi 2 released by Lamberto Forni film on PAL tape. I assume the company and not just the rich maniac.
The case is a standard hard clamshell in that hideous off-beige colour we've all come to know and love. The print is uncut and staggeringly in widescreen, an exception of the early VHS era to have such a feature.
Italian tapes are somewhat hard to isolate as stylistically the packaging is the same design ethic from A to B, thusly confirming a year on this bad boy is nigh impossible, but I'd happily accept any info should you folks have it.
Incidentally, in a recent slew of foreign Ebay auctions a few Super 8mm titles were sold of note in a most obviously under the table deal.
Super 8 is really the cat's ass of obscurity. It throws down a gauntlet so heavy, Thor could not lift it.
By the looks of it a single seller managed to unearth some German 8mm titles of Anthropophagous, Gates of Hell and Zombie Holocaust.

I know little to nothing about these releases and I doubt many people do. My first thought was that they could have been really slick fakes, but then another "Man-Eater" popped up from another seller dismissing that consideration.
Interesting to note that Zombie Holocaust is spread over two reels, meaning that it's the entire film on 8mm, the cut and print are of course unknown.
She's a big world out there for the horror fan, so it would seem?
